WELCA
(Women of ELCA)

WELCA includes Lutheran women who gather in more than 7,000 locations in the U.S. and the Caribbean, for service, study, advocacy, fellowship and more! WELCA embraces all kinds of ministries that support our mission of mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ. There is a place for you in Women of the ELCA.

Goal Purpose of Committee:

  • Generate money to be used to help those in need.

  • Keep all the different projects of the Church
    running smoothly

  • Help where ever we can, help and support
    Homme Home etc. 

Activities:

  • Mother/Daughter Banquet

  • Serve after Baccalaureate Service on years it is here

  • Have an annual outing to promote fellowship and unity

  • Fall Luncheon every year

  • Serve for annual meeting

  • Set up for Senior Citizen Banquet

  • Serve Thanksgiving lunch when here (Thanksgiving Eve)

  • Have Bake Sale to raise funds
